P90DRE (1 week ago) "Bulimia is an addiction similar to alcoholism and drug addiction. It just isn't recognized much since we all have to eat and bulimics aren't usually skeletal looking. Bulimics are nothing more than closet gluttons who waste money on food and sadly are harming their bodies."
REPLY @P90DRE (Today) I agree with your comparison of bulimia to addiction however I find it reprehensible that you term those suffering from a psychological illness affecting ALL areas of a sufferer's life "closet gluttons". You're clearly not as knowledgeable on the subject as you'd like to believe. Bulimia is ultimately a coping mechanism that grows beyond one's control: it's not solely about the cycle of bingeing, starving and purging- it's a manifestation of fear, a sense of inadequacy & poor self-esteem.
